The world is a noisy, busy place, and I believe that therapy can create a space to slow down and allow for you to be heard and supported. People are fascinating and everyone is dealing with some level of struggle and discomfort. I’m not afraid to dig into the uncomfortable through patience, empathy, acceptance, and thoughtfulness with a side of tough love, laid back attitude, humor, and out-of-the-box approaches.
A provider of Gottman Method Couples Therapy, my specializations also include trauma, crisis, anger management, anxiety, depression, survivor’s guilt, everyday life stressors, and self-image/perception issues. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults from diverse populations and backgrounds. In addition to being a Veteran myself, I am also the spouse of a retired disabled Army Veteran. These lived life experiences give me a different perspective and understanding when it comes to unconventional relationships and their stressors as well as adjusting to constant change and evolution.
