With more than 15 years in the social work field, I have seen firsthand how all of our experiences, from the mundane every day to the extraordinary once-in-a-lifetime, shape how we view the world we live in… and our relationships within it. A provider of Gottman Method couples therapy, I believe in getting back to the basics of connection- tending to those small moments so that you can start enjoying the extraordinary again. No gesture of affection is too small in my office. Dedicating a large portion of my practice to couples work, I take pride in helping clients make their relationships good again. I hope to be a space of comfort and safety as you begin this next chapter.
I have an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on practices that include values, motivation, empowerment, and compassion, and I hope you’ll find I have an empathetic, accepting, and understanding style to help you reach your therapy goals. I deeply believe that we are all grieving a loss in our life and that we often feel alone in that absence. Having attended extensive trainings with grief experts and researchers, Dr. Robert Neimeyer and Dr. Carolyn Ng through the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition, I have a great interest in and am deeply humbled by helping clients through some of their darkest moments. Whether you are grieving a loved one, a pet, a job, or a complicated in-between, you are not alone and I am ready to start this work together.

*I am currently taking cash-only clients. I believe in access to mental health care and can offer a sliding scale if you find yourself in financial hardship. I can also provide a SuperBill for possible insurance reimbursement.
