In the 10+ years since I completed my therapy internship, I have fallen in love with the process of making connections while helping clients through the challenges they may be facing. Since therapy can feel like a scary process in the beginning, it has always been my priority to be as warm and accepting as possible. To be most productive, engaging the family unit as a whole is frequently necessary while maintaining focus on the client.
To create a calm environment, I utilize a trauma-informed approach that fosters a comfortable therapy space. I have additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. This allows me to approach complex situations from a strengths-based perspective, and yield more successful results.
I have experience working with a wide range of ages and populations. I currently work with children aged 10 and up, teens, and adults. I particularly enjoy helping individuals discover their goals, and work
toward better outcomes in any and all aspects of their lives .
