I know it is challenging to make the first step in reaching out for support and I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space for you to grow and make the changes you’d like to see in your life. In the beginning of therapy, I will spend time getting to know you and we will work together to explore what your current goals are and how we can work towards them. My style balances deep, internal exploration with the healing power of lightness, humor, and compassion.
I provide compassion-based, trauma-informed therapy for clients ages 13 and up, and clients of all gender, racial, ethnic, religious, spiritual, sexuality (LGBTQIA+), and intersectional identities. I believe everyone has their own internal strengths and I will work with you to build on those, giving you the space to do both emotional work and get specific tools for action-oriented progress. I'm grateful every day to learn from the wisdom and strength of my clients, and to offer a space in which they are able to learn, explore, and thrive in a supportive environment.
I provide telehealth therapy services working completely virtually and I do not currently see clients in-person. If you believe we may be a good fit for therapy, contact me for a free 15 minute phone consultation. I offer flexible hours in order to accommodate for busy schedules.
I received my master's degree in social work from Saint Louis University and have 6+ years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, including working with child survivors of domestic violence, courtroom and first-response settings with trauma survivors, and most recently at a St. Louis non-profit organization providing individual and group therapy to individuals who have experienced domestic and sexual violence (and working with folks who’ve experienced complex and collective/societal trauma). At this non-profit organization, I also developed and improved a variety of group curriculum focusing on sexual intimacy after trauma, LGBTQ+ trauma recovery, and domestic and sexual violence recovery.
My clinical background has helped me become (and continue to work on being) an authentic, thoughtful, curious, and empathic clinician. My specialty is working with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, and PTSD.
